The Executive board of the National Olympic Committee and Commonwealth Games Association of Sierra Leone (NOC/GA SLE is pleased to announce the appointment of seasoned sport administrator Mr. Ahmed Khanou as Acting Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee and Commonwealth Games Association of Sierra Leone effective immediately. His tenure in this capacity will be for a period of six (6) months, after which the Board will reassess and decide on a potential permanent appointment.

Mr. Khanou brings a wealth of experience and leadership to this role. He has previously served as Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Volleyball Federation and currently as its President. Additionally, he has demonstrated his commitment to sports administration through his tenure as Minister of Sport for the Government of Sierra Leone from 2016 to 2018. His vast expertise in sports governance and administration will be instrumental in driving the mission and vision of the NOC/CGA SLE forward.
