SCHOLARSHIP ATHLETES

Sierra Leone currently has four athletes who are on scholarship spanning for a year beginning September 2023 to August 2024. The scholarship is a way to get the athletes to completely focus on their trainings and are paid the sum of $1,500 monthly.

2nd World Qualification Tournament

23rd May to 3rd June 2024, Bangkok, Thailand

Phase 1 – World Wrestling Championships

16th – 24th September 2023, Belgrade, Serbia

Phase 2 - 2024 Continental Qualification Tournament

6th – 11th February 2024: African Championships, Cairo, Egypt

Phase 3: 2024 World Qualification Tournament

9th – 12th May 2024: World Qualifying Tournament, Istanbul, Turkey
