Sierra Leone\u2019s only athletic representative at the Paris 2024 Olympics Games, Georgiana Sesay will come up against Asimenye Simwaka of Malawi and seven others today at the Stade de France.<\/div>\n

The Sierra Leone sprinter has been placed in Heat 4 of the Women’s 100m preliminary round for Friday’s showdown and she has already been placed in Lane One of Heat.<\/div>\n

Sesay will have to be at her best to overcome the likes of Simwaka who made her Olympics debut at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

She went on to collect the 200m bronze medal at the 2024 African Championships.<\/div>\n

Another tough opponent in the Heat is the Saint Kitts and Nevis 2024 national 100m and 200m champion, Zahria Allers-Liburd who is going to the Heat with 11.43 sec.<\/div>\n

Sesay is confident she can perform and live up to expectations despite making her Olympic debut.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
